Discover University

I bought sims 4 discover university and it is not working. I have a macbook pro (13-inch, mid 2012 dual-core intel core i7, macOS catalina) and I know that discover university is not compatible with the legacy edition that’s why i did not installed it and also because my computer seems to have all ea’s requirements however im keep getting ‘application not responding’ message and it is not working. I also tried disabling origin in-game. Can you please help me
