Custom Content

I play on Macbook Pro and i have a resource file in my mods folder and a package files and on my game script mods is enabled and cc but when i launch my games any cc i download does not show up! And in the filter options when i click on content their should be a custom content option if its in your game and there isnt! No cc works on my game but on my windows it does

In Game Options you have both these checked:

What do you see if you click on View Custom Content?

@Bluebellflora  Nothing comes up at all? :/ My cc is in electronic arts > sims 4 > mods > packages 

And there is a resource folder in my mods but when i click view custom content none of it shows up

I use two Mods and they are just in the Mods folder with the Resource.cfg file, not in a sub-folder. Have you read the guide I linked to? It's very easy to follow. You aren't trying to use Sims 3 CC and Mods in Sims 4 are you?
