Cant install sims custom content from tsr

Using macbook pro, when i download custom content from tsr it downloads into my launcher but then everything kinda freezes out like i can't click install play quit anything so i restart it and the downloads are there but then when i press install it freezes out again and never installs this is so annoying and i need help on what to do

Using 3rd party content is always at the user's own risk. Check CC compatibility over on the TSR website.
