Cannot See Sims 4 Recordings on Mac

I am unable to view my screen recordings taken on Sims 4 to Mac. I went to downloads, then Electronic Arts, then Sims 4, and then Recorded Videos. Once I click on the video, it only allows me to listen to the recording, but won't allow me to watch it. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

The .avi file formats are for Windows computers and won’t properly open in macOS. You need to use a 3rd party video converter such as VLC.
