Can't open sims 4 on macbook air High Sierra

I can not get sims 4 to open on my mac. I have downloaded it off of origin but when I try to open it It says "An error occurred while starting the X11 server: "Failed to activate core devices."". Does anyone know how to fix this?? I really do not know a lot about this and I have sims 2 but that is it. I have an early 2014 macbook air high sierra if that helps.
