Can't download lots from the gallery

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 10.5.24.5022
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats and Dogs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When entering the "gallery" in Sims 4, the button that allows you to place place the lot is unavailable
What happens when the bug occurs? The button is not able to be pressed and I am unable to place the lot
What do you expect to see? I hover over the "place the lot" option and it says "Can't place content because it was created with a newer version of the game. Restart the game to check for updates."
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have attached an image of the issue. I am unable to download lots from the gallery. It tells me that I need to get an updated version of the game however I already have the latest version of Origin. Although when I right click The Sims 4 to repair or update the game, it does not work. Please let me know why this is happening

Also have you tried without mods /cc ?

The current version I have is: 1.44.88.1220

I have tried to place the lot without mods/cc but I am still unable to place it.

That's not the current version. We're at 1.46.18

You should be able to update through Origin.

I have tried to update the game several times however the same message keeps popping up and it does not allow me to update my game. (The message states, "We're sorry, Origin was unable to download your game. Please check your internet connection, or try again later.") There is no issue with my internet connection, it is working just fine.

I see, thank you so much! I've upgraded but it still doesn't work. I'm assuming this is an issue that EA might have to fix, for now I'll just wait.

Try updating your Origin to the Beta version.

Which version of macOS are you running now? The beta fix for the Yosemite issue will hopefully be released shortly, with the patch released shortly afterwards.

@crinrict Im having the same issue but I have the cracked version and I used to use the sims 4 updater but now its out of date so when i tried to update that now i have a bunch of missing files but when i go to check my computer and to repair it, it said nothing was detected. Ive tried everything and it still wont work
