Can't click buttons in Sims 4

Hi hi,

I recently upgraded to the newest version of the sims and now, the game will load but i can't click directly on any buttons. 

If it allows me to click, my mouse has to be sort of below the actual button. However, more often than not, it does not allow me to click. I couldn't even exit the game this morning, I had to force quit the program.

My current operating system is MacOS Catalina 10.15.3

I'm confused and frustrated, any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi! I am having the same issues, I tried to repair my game but it still acts the same I have only the basegame in and no mods! Please let me know if you can help !!
