S4 Mac Platform Update *Crashing*

@RJBla Tried this, my settings were on low before. Tried low-medium too to see if it would change anything. It's still doing the things where the sims freeze and the day continues/ it won't pause.

I'm on a 2020 MacBook Air and also had all the crashing happen, anywhere from five to 30 minutes of game play. I've added in the -nosound stuff and managed to play a solid two hours (frantically saving every couple of minutes) without any freezing or crashing. All my settings are on low graphics, etc. I have all the packs and expansions and am even trying it out with my mods and CC in it, and it's still working! Fingers crossed it'll stay that way until they come out with a fix.

Hello again.

For the time being, we no longer need saves for random crashes.  The team is still hard at work on those.

If you have a crash with specific steps for reproduction though, those saves may still be useful to the team.

I have the same problem. After a few minutes of playing the game crashes. However, I didn't have any sound related crash. Yesterday the game just shut down without any error message. Today my Sims were just stuck in what they were doing. They moved but time didn't continue running. Couldn't fast forward or stop. After I saved, it worked for a few minutes and then crashed again... :-(

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I've been playing twice since updating the game and installing Snowy Escape without any mods or CC. The first time the game ran smoothly for about 60-90 min and then crashed unexpectedly before I could save my progress and the second time I was able to play for about 30 min and it crashed again. Both times my sim was interacting with a NPC sim, but it was a different one every time.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game quits from one second to another without any warning.
What do you expect to see? I expect this to work smoothly without crashing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not at the moment. I've removed them. The save file is a brand new one I created after installing Snowy Escapes, so it never had any CC or mods in it.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes, it happened after I installed the last patch and latest EP.

What happens when the bug occurs? The counters and sofas won't show up and when you click on the sims it has a 1-2 minute delay. I even tried when I took out my mods and cc its still occurring. 
What do you expect to see?NO MORE BUGS!

After today's update the whenever you put down counter tops and sofas it says "script failed" and when you click on sims to make choices it has a 1-2 minute delay with and without mods/cc. This is the first time this has happened post-update for me. I have a Mid 2013 Mac.

Now it crashed after exactly 25 min. I just sent my sim to bed and the game quit while she made her way into the bedroom. I wanted to include the last crash text file and it's actually blank.
