Game periodically freezes after November 2020 Update

Tried this, it worked for a little longer but still froze.

@Bluebellflora Thanks for this! Unfortunately it didn't solve my problem, although the game has now become completely un-playable for me. It gets stuck on the selected within the first minute. Does anybody else have this problem as well?

I currently have the same problem. Totally unplayable. tried all of the normal fixes and it has not changed anything.

Could you send EA your save? There’s a link in the solution explaining how to do it. 

Did you try again with a new Sims 4 folder after disabling sound?

Hello, thanks for your help. I have a feeling turning off the sound helped.

Edit: I have now downloaded the new pack "Snowy Escape". I played for 1 hour, both in live mode and in CAS. The game did NOT crash! THANK YOU

Play-tested the game in offline mode now 3 times and no crashes and no lagging. Been traveling, speed loading etc. to challenge the game and it's been stable for hours. Not ideal since it's offline but at least it's playable until EA fixes the ultimate issue.

Me too, game crashes every time, but now it also bugs where the sims are stuck in whatever they are set to do.

eternally washing dishes, or using the bathroom, or just stand still.

I have all the expansions, all the game packs (minus StrangeVille, Vampires and StarWars) e a few stuff packs.
