Hi, I've been having this really annoying issue with first person mode since the April patch. I can enter first person mode and interact with things fine, however the cursor/mouse is out of sync with the white circle. Meaning, the white circle is stuck in the top left of the screen and doesn't move, and when I click on things while in first person mode, it reads as if I am clicking on things in the centre of the screen, directly in front on my sim. Even when I move the mouse and try to click somewhere else on the screen, it only reads as if I am clicking in the same spot, directly in front of my sim.
Things I have tried to fix this so far are:
Repairing the game via origin (I've tried this several times)
Removing mods and CC; the issue was still present with no mods or cc, and after removing mods and CC, I repaired the game again and the problem still remained
Deleting the localthumbcache.package
Deleting the onlinethumbnailcache (not the folder itself, just the file within it)
Deleting the resource package
Clearing cache
Testing to see if the issue is present in both fullscreen and windowed mode, which it is
Going to different lots and worlds
Trying different households and different sims to see if the issue was exclusive to just one sim or household
I really don't know what else to try, or what could be causing this. Is this a bug resulting from the April patch? Is my game broken? Is there anything else I should try to fix this? This issue is hard to explain it words, so I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like at the bottom of this post. In the screenshot, you can see that the door (which is directly ahead of my sim) is highlighted as if my cursor is on it, however the white circle is not on top of it.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know how to fix this, but how did you get in first person mode to begin with? :O

I have the same issue with my Late 2013 13" MBP with Retina. I have Intel Iris integrated graphics.

I have tested on my iMac and cannot reproduce the issue. I do not see my mouse's 'white circle' stuck in the upper left corner. Mine seems to be right in the middle of the screen/line of view, and does seem to sync fine with the task selected on the item the circle is choosing/interacting with.
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
Processor: 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M390 2 GB
macOS 10.14.4 Mojave
Per @Bluebellflora's suggestion I re-tested with 'retina display' enabled in my game and was able to reproduce the issue, plus it sometimes creates an odd behavior of a white bar appearing as pictured (when successfully clicking on a 'go here' type area).
