I'm having the blocky eyelashes and shiny hair issues, but I'm also having the issue where big black pixel squares appear all over my sims in CAS.

@CentraMagik A couple of screenshots of the black pixel squares would be helpful. You can put your game in windowed mode (cmd-enter) and then use cmd-shift-4 to capture the section of screen you want to show.
Please also attach your deviceconfig.log to a post; it's in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. (You'll need to manually open the folders; the file won't show up in a search.) You can delete your user and computer names, about 25 lines down, but there's nothing else in that file that can identify you.

I don't know how to find the config log, but I am currently on a MacBook Air (I don't know what year), and am running High Sierra.

Still the same issues and EA haven't been active since the first update. I think they've abandoned us lol

@CentraMagik I described how to find the deviceconfig.log here:

And that’s will be useful for that problem? I have the same, with the hair.

@aerowenia The deviceconfig is useful for people with the grainy hair because that issue doesn't affect everyone. The file shows your graphics chip or card, OS and driver version, and graphics settings, which can help identify and reproduce the issue. I don't know whether it will ever be fixed, but more info can only help.
