Sims 4 unable to start after update. Mac Initialization error at start up

@vnestv I'm having the same problem with my MacBook air, its not letting me launch the game since yesterday and its really pissing me off. At this point i don't know what to do!!

after I bought The sims 4 with game packs I cannot play it.Because it shows

I dont have english language option at all (only origin is in english)

@Gabywis, please describe the exact steps you've taken to change the language (please include any restarts of the Sims 4).

@republic241 Are you saying that your game language is already English and it's still not working correctly? What hardware and macOS version are you using? Do you know if you are/were using the LE version of the game?

Hi there,

I'm aware this topic is known but could not find a solution to it.

I'm on a fairly recent mac and everything worked perfectly until I clicked on "install new patch". Since, I get this error message: [135dec40:90f690cf:00000075:495f32a0] and can't play anymore.

I have re-installed Origin, re-installed all my downloaded content (available in english only), tried to repair the game... and still the problem isn't solved.

Help?

08/04/2020 Update: it seems the game can launch when I click on "Play" from my library > the sims > extension pack > Extension name "play" but it doesn't work if I click on the "main" the sims button.
