Do you also have a game in Russian after you set up ru_RU? Is there any workaround on how to set at least English? Changing the language into an orgin will not be reflected in the game.

The same problem after the update Frown

I tried switching languages ( I only have Russian, Polish and Czech tho, located in Poland), reinstalling both Origin and Sims, nothing helped... I updated my Mac OS today, it's Sierra 10.12.6.

This has solved my problem! Thanks so much for sharing. I went into every single plist file - I have 9 ... and changed in each document to <string>pl_PL</string>   since my game is in Polish and never had English version available. One of my plist files was pl_PL and all the others after the tonight's update changed to en_US. So I did what yourmadhouse suggested and change all 9 plist files to pl_PL and my game has started and works perfectly! Happy days! Standard smile Here's step by step to solve this issue without any reinstalling:

1. This is where to find your plist files:

Users>"USER">Library>Application Support>Origin>Installer Data

2. Open every single plist file - depending on how many expansion packs and game packs you have, you will have more plist files.

3. Check in every single plist file if you have the right language written there. My language is Polish. In each plist file I found a part of the document that says:

<key>Locale</key>
<string>pl_PL</string>

"pl_PL"  --> that's your language info. So in every plist file that's what it should say, if your language is Polish. Change accordingly for the languages you have for your game. This way you're basically making sure that all your extensions packs and additions are matching your language that you have installed your game in. Standard smile  for example fr_FR for French, ru_RU for Russian.

4. Make sure to save every single plist file before you close it!

5. Once you make those changes, go to origin and just start a game. Should be working! Standard smile
