My game keeps crashing on MacBook Pro

My game won't startup but I don't know what the problem is. I have a lot of cc and downloaded new stuff about 4 days ago and have played just fine with it. I haven't played in two days, but I tried to go into it today and I could press on their household, but when I press play it won't go into their household. At first, it would and all my sims would be gone and the image of my sims in the bottom left corner was gone too.

Hmm. That's good that the names are the same but not good that you are still experiencing this issue. Do you have Origin and the game set to different languages?

@Bluebellflora No, they are set to the same language.  My game opens but it still crashes when I try to play with a household.

we have the same problem after updating the game... 

last time i solved it following advice on changing something in plist on origin but cant find the thread

all the suff i found on this lengthy thread does not work

Do you have a Scratch folder in the saves folder?

Thanks. The scratch folder is created when you launch the game then disappears after you quit. If the game or machine freezes/crashes it can cause the folder to not be correctly removed. Can you trash it then try again?
