My problem was that my Origin was in French but my game in English, simple as that... Put origin and the game in English and it's working now (yé!)

I think I've found an easier workaround. Can someone try this please:
NOTE:
If the language in which you want to play appears in The Sims 4's language list, select it for The Sims 4 AND ALSO select it in Origin’s language list (from the Origin Presences panel accessible from Origin -> Preferences or Command+, ). Then “repair” The Sims 4 by opening the game page in the Origin client, selecting the gear icon, and selecting “Repair” from the list. It is critical that the language option you choose for the Origin client be the same language available from The Sims 4's list of languages. If you chose a language NOT from The Sims 4's list then the game will continue to not work.
These language options are known to not work (they are available in the Origin preferences but not The Sims 4's language list) and should NOT be selected from the Origin preferences:
François (Canada)
Español (México)
Thai

Hi! I followed these steps
In Finder pull down the "Go" menu and select "Library"
In the folder that opens find and open the "Application Support" folder
Inside THAT folder find the "Origin" folder
Then you will find a folder "Installer Data" and there you will find the file "1011164.plist"
Open this file and look for a line that says "<string>en_US</string>". Replace that one with the line you copied
And that's it! :D

Je suis sous MacOs High Sierra
Je suis allée dans mon finder sur le bureau , ensuite tu dois aller dans l'onglet Aller et puis appuyer sur SHIFT et tu verras apparaitre la bibliothèque.
