I have an iMac Pro with 3GHz 10-core Intel Xeon W Processor, with turbo boost up to 4.5 GHz. Within minutes of playing the Sims 4, iStat has my CPU usage jumping to 97% and Activity Monitor has the Sims 4 using 122%. The CPU temp also reaches 155F and the fans go crazy. I used to play on an older iMac and never had this problem in terms of CPU use and temperature. Any ideas how to reduce this ridiculous CPU usage? Thanks!

The Intel Xeon W is turbo boosting, perfectly normal. 155F/68C is fine although I'm surprised the fans are ramping up so high at this temperature, efficient cooling maybe? Do you play with CC/Mods? If so is the CC very high poly?
Whilst the Sims 4 is natively written for macOS, it is not optimised for it sadly.
