About 80% of the time when I click into build mode it crashes the game and breaks the lot. When this happens I'll get a crash report and/or Last Exception file that mentions some kind of build signature issue. This has also corrupted saves. I do have mods but I took them out and it still happens. I also tried reinstalling the game, repairing the game, reinstalling origin, taking all mods/cc out of my folder, letting EA make a new folder and then copying my saves into the new folder. For some reason I'm getting an error when I attach the crash report but here it is:

I play the Sims 4 on a Macbook Pro and updated it to Big Sur. Ever since the new Sims 4 update, I tried playing a saved game but it loaded forever. I removed the MODs and managed to enter saved games. But the houses floor disappeared like as if there's a gaping hole of death for the sims to fall in. Check out the picture to see what I'm talking about. The hole seems to be where the tiles are placed. Apart from that, I couldn't make a room; everytime I closed up four walls the game crashes. I attempted to repair the game a few times. Still the same. I uninstalled and installed the game. Nothing works. I just want to play the game. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Great to hear you were able to get your game working! Are you still seeing the missing floors or did it fix that issue as well?

Thank you so much!! I will definitely be trying those out to see if something works!
