I have an iMac and the problems being reported are the same with my computer as well. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. It will eventually crash.

I am also having this issue. I'll be playing and after a few hours, I get graphical tearing and lag that then it hard crashes my entire laptop.
I have AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 8 GB of VRAM. My computer IS a 2019 16" Macbook Pro as well running OS X Catalina 10.15.4. 32 GB of DD4 memory. 2.4 Ghz 8-core Intel i9 processor. Attached an error my Mac threw up after I hard rebooted when Sims hard crashed my machine.

Unfortunately I tried all those yesterday with no luck. Thank you for trying to help though! I very much appreciate it.

I understand that macOS Big Sur is still in beta and unsupported, but has anyone tested The Sims 4 under Big Sur? I wonder if it actually runs the game properly on a 16" MacBook Pro. Maybe the reason it's so buggy at the moment has something to do with Catalina. 🤔

@Bluebellflora yes, here is my config log.
*update* I tried playing with vertical sync enabled instead. It actually seemed to fix the camera issues except for in Willow Creek, Newcrest, San Myshuno (fashion district) and Glimmerbrook. I haven't tried any of the vacation worlds yet.

If it is AMD's fault, then I say we riot! 😉
Maybe I can install Big Sur on an external and test it out.
