The Sims 4 gallery crashes when I open it. [ Edited ]

@Amaphilli  There is a catche you need to delete after moving your mods folder to the desktop. I think it's thumb catche but I'm not sure.

Thank you but it didn't work. I tried removing the local thumb catche and the online thumb catch but removing them and the mods folder didn't do anything. But thank you for responding.

@SimQARobo I have the same issue and it’s so frustrating. Seems like this issue has been known about for months. Any idea when the sims team will fix it?!

I am having the same issue. However, when I search for EAWebKit.so there is no such file in my sims 4 applications 'package contents'. please help!! Thank you

You can try and fix it yourself by changing your Origin avatar. In Origin your profile doesn't currently show you have one.

I have changed my avatar now thank you but still no EAWebKit.so in sims 4 'show package contents'

Forget the EAWebKit info, that's an old fix.

Change the avatar then logout of Origin, quit Origin, log back in and see if it works.

Hello, 

I've been having the bug for a month now. Every time I open my gallery the game crashes. I tired deleting the game and downloading it again and it didn't work. I deleted my mods folder and disabled my mods and it still crashes. I'm so tired of this bug. For the love of god someone help me. I even deleted most of my saves and it still happen. I deleted the localthumbcache.package and tried to troubleshoot this myself but it doesn't seem to help.
