Sims 4 keeps crashing when accessing the Gallery

It seems to be an ongoing issue unfortunately with no guaranteed fix. You could try playing in a new user account on your Mac to check whether something is causing it in your user account, for example background processes or another app running.

I’ve been playing on my MacBook Air 2015 for a while now and I’ve never had problems. Always had CC and mods. Well randomly I go to get on the gallery and the entire game crashes. So I do it again and it keeps crashing. No error messages or anything. The game just closes out and I’m back at my desktop. I’m fully updated on Sierra, it’s having issues downloading Catalina, but I just want to get on my gallery! I have repaired. Uninstalled. Deleted all CC and mods. Done everything I could find and nothing is working. Someone please help. I’m on hour 7 of not being able to use my game right.

Hello! I just found this post, but randomly tonight my game started crashing anytime I clicked the gallery tab. I have done everything to do except delete the Eaweb file because I don’t have it. Why don’t I have it and where the heck did it go. I’ve uninstalled and re installed , deleted chache. Updated laptop. Repaired game. No cc or mod anymore. And it simply won’t work. 😭

You need to try a game WITHOUT any of your data. Start a brand new game, in a new user account, and see if you can access the gallery.

I still had the same issue with the gallery crashing!!

This is happening to me as well. I have a brand new Mac and updated Catalina, I uninstalled sims and reinstalled it.  Nothing is working it still closes when I click Gallery.  I really want to play, I feel like there is always something lately.

@Bluebellflora  I tried on a new user and the gallery still crashed every time I tried to open it.
