game crashing when trying to access gallery

Hello,

 I am also having the same problem with the gallery crashing 100% of the time I have tried all the above suggestions. I have a macbook air. Please help!! I have also noticed that I do not have a file/ thread that says EAWebKit.so    (I have searched for hours).

Have you correctly followed the instructions for finding the EAWebKit.so file? You cannot just search for it.

I have tried everything on this thread and more and the game still crashes when I open the gallery.

Recently, whenever I click on the gallery it doesn't open and the game crashes, instantly taking me out of the game. I've seen other older threads about it but nothing has resolved my issue. Is there anybody who is able to help?

What files do you have in the location where it should be?

That is the Sims 4 folder, not the app. You're not looking in the right location, please follow the instructions to find the file then repair your game.

1. Right click on the Sims 4  in your Applications folder and select Show Package Contents
2. Navigate to Contents > Frameworks
3. Drag the EAWebKit.so file to the Trash
4. Open Origin, right click on the game in your Games Library and select Repair Game
