I've also complete the troubleshooting steps listed here. With a fresh game (not restoring any saves or CC) it played OK for a day or so and then went back to crashing.

Hi, I'm having a ton of problems with Sims4 crashing on my new iMac. Normal version. Removed CC. I've moved the Sims4 folder to desktop to start fresh, this helped for a bit, but now we're back to crashing every 15min or so. Turned down graphics to medium. Purged RAM for kicks. Ran Origin Repair on Sims4 multiple times. Still the same. Hopefully we can all get our Sims back soon!

Also a note: the camera when going into simstagram camera view is pretty messed up, which caused a crash on it's own, but really it's just crashing for any action when it feels like it.
Hopefully we can all get our Sims back soon!

Has this now been fixed since the November patch? Could some of you please let me know how your game now performs?
November
Not fixed for me. Sims4 spins a beachball and crashes every time eventually. Length of play ranges from 5 - 21 minutes. Brand new iMac 2020.
- tried clean install with snowy escape update
- ran origin repair
No luck. Any ideas?
