@twice_twotimes I'm having identical issues, and I'm on a 2020 iMac - so frustrating to not be able to play the game. Tried everything except the camera style switch, but I'll try later, too frustrated to do it now.

Re: Sims4 Crashing on iMac 2020 - Every time.

@MCBK10

Very, thanks Standard smile I've merged your posts into this thread where other users with the current 27" iMac and AMD Radeon Pro GPUs are also having issues.

Unfortunately the game is increasingly becoming more and more unstable on newer Macs with AMD graphics. Could you attach your config.log file so we can check your GPU is supported.

Try toggling windowed and fullscreen mode and playing around with the in-game graphics settings to see if it improves the situation. Always have Origin in-game disabled too - https://bluebellflora.com/2017/12/23/disable-origin-in-game/

@Bluebellflora I was playing this morning and it seemed perfectly fine, so it's clearly temperamental :P

Sorry, I'm not great at the technology - how do I do that exactly? I have the URL for that file, do I just post that? Or do I quite literally attach it somehow?THanks for the help.

@MCBK10

Yeah, no one has figured out the trigger for it yet I don’t think Frown

To attach the file, click reply. Below the message window in the bottom right you should see the option to attach a file.

@MCBK10

Does enabling vsync in the game options help?

@MCBK10

You attached it fine! That's how I can see you have vsync unchecked Standard smile
