I think I'm having the same issue - I run on OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.6, with an AMD Radeon R9 M380 2048 Mb, and I'm seriously struggling to just get the game to load my save, let alone be able to actually play. Objects aren't loading correctly, very glitchy, lots of stretching of objects as well. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling origin, as well as redownloading sims 4 itself, and no such luck.

2 days ago I've bought the Sims 4 for my mac and I haven't had the opportunity to play it once because it keeps crashing when starting up. I've checked al my specifications and my macbook pro should run it on high specs. I want to either play it or get a refund but getting in touch with EA seems to be a pain in the *. Anybody knows what to do? I've attached a video so you can see how weird the game is acting.

I am running on the same OS, I tried to troubleshoot the sims 3 and uninstalled and reinstalled origin now it says I need to upgrade my OS but i am on El Cap 10.11.6 MacPro. I have been trying to fix for a few days. I did not patch, cleared the cache and downloads. Any advice? I have read all the threads and tried everything. Sierra says it is no longer available in US. Please help, please kindly help...anyone.
