@sammyteatime

That's not all the required info, please can you provide it all? No mention of RAM/memory or exact model.

I am having the same problem after the latest patch. My game is taking forever to load and then when I finally get to start playing, I have a glitch at the bottom 1/5 of my screen during live mode and build mode. CAS seems to be working normally.

My mac details:

Macbook Air (13-inch, early 2014)

MacOS Mojave - Version 10.14.6

Processor: 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Startup Disk: Macintosh HD

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB

I was not one of the people who needed to get the new Legacy game.

I have tried repairing the game, tried removing origin access within the game and also removed my entire EA folder from my documents so that a new one generates, but even when starting fresh, the issue persists.

@lexyruddzSame, mine is doing like a flickering like there's something wrong with the bottom of the screen! Glad you could put it into words what was wrong with it, the same things are happening to me

Thanks both. Have a look at the screenshot the user posted in this thread - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/Sims-4-glitch/m-p/8419469#M22677

Is that what your games look like too?

@Bluebellflora Kind of what it looks like, sort of flashing back and forth between that and normal. Resolution and definition of details are also worse than that screenshot.

@sammyteatime @lexyruddz

Thanks, merged the threads together. You both have the same Intel graphics chips, hopefully @mollydod101 will confirm their Mac details to compare.

@Bluebellflora Just an update on the situation, downloading Legacy edition didn't do anything different. (Sorry this update took so long, slow college wifi made it download in like 2 hours lol).

Re: New Patch Glitchy

★★ Guide
@sammyteatime Please open the Sims 4 game options and disable Edge Smoothing. Let us know if that helps. Thanks!
