Sims 4 download on MacBook

How come the sims 4 says that it can run on macs but after adding it to the library it won't let me open it?

Do you get an option to uninstall when you click on the game in your games library? If so click on it then choose Revert game edition. Origin Access is not available for Mac users. You have a subscription to Origin Access which is not compatible on a Mac. Please see the opening post on page 1 of this thread I have moved your posts to for further help.

Hello, thanks for your answer. I am not quiet sure because i the requierment part says:

MINIMUM SPECS:
OS: Metal required. Mac OS® X 10.11 (El Capitan)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz Processor or better
RAM: At least 4 GB RAM 

I have the macbook air with 1,8 GHz Intel Core i5 de dos núcleos and 

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. It is compatible ?
