Sims aren't following commands (ps4)

My sims keep deflecting anything I command them to do, for example: use the toilet, make food, feed the toddler, and a major one, stay asleep. My sims are exhausted but every time they go to bed they wake right back up no matter how many times I try. There are no radios, the pets have already learned to be quiet, no babies crying, nothing of any kind of sound. I have no CC or MODs, I've exited the game and loaded it back up and still nothing. My sims refuse to follow a majority of my commands. What do I do?

Your computer can be a cause of this. Do you live in a huge house? FPS will be still stable but the game will be very slow to do anything, like process Sims eating or going to bed. Try to test it on a smaller lot with some other family, and see if they have the same problem too.
