Sims 4 is laggy after June 10th, 2020 hotfix [ Edited ]

Ever since the June 10th hotfix, my game is constantly lagging whenever I enter build mode, and continues to lag when I exit to live mode as well. Anyone else having this issue? It's beyond frustrating. It seems like everytime the devs roll out an update/patch, they always manage to break the game in some form or another.

Edit: I play the PS4 version of the game.

For me, none of those things will work as I play Sims 4 for PS4

@DaughterofEvil32  I've moved your posts to the Console forum.  Sorry for the discontinuity in the thread, but I left the PC troubleshooting post with the PC people.  You'll get better PS4 help here.

@DaughterofEvil32 Can you please try some basic troubleshooting for this.

1. Turn off Your system completely, unplug it, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on. 

2. Make sure your game is up to date. 

• Go to the PlayStation home screen. 
• Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
• Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
• Restart the Console completely.

3. Make sure your Console system software is up to date. 

• Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
• Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
• Reboot your PlayStation 4.

I play on the ps4 and i'm having those troubles as well. Ever since the new patch. I'm installing the game again to see if it helps

It’s not working. I spoke with someone from EA WAS TOLD TO Uninstall and reinstall the game. Something is wrong on their side. They aren’t fixing the problem

It's not EA that deals with the game, they're simply the publisher. It's Maxis we should be going after. They aren't fixing it because they don't care. All they care about is money.

And to the person telling me to check for updates, the game is up to date. If there was an update or patch, one of the gurus would've tweeted about it to let everyone know. Though at this point, they shouldn't even bother with updating the game as they'll just break it further.

The next update we get will probably be when they release Cozy Knits. Hopefully they'll actually FIX the game this time. Hopefully.
