Sims 4 crashing

I’m really sad when I was younger I used to love playing sims now it’s just like work. Every time I open the game something is wrong and I can’t play it then when I finally do get it working it crashes and nothing is saved I’ve went to the ea chat line but the next day it’s just something new I LOVE this game but at this point I would just like my money back 😔
