Sims 4 Xbox One lag [ Edited ]

Since I purchased the City Living expansion, and moved my Sim to an apartment, the game has suddenly become really laggy, as if I'm playing on a low end PC! It's fine if I stick to the other areas, but I would like to enjoy the content I paid for. I also get lag at any other public area. Any news on a stability fix or a patch?

Same, it’s really annoying. Especially since the expansions are so expensive, after paying that much I’d hope they wouldn’t ruin the entire game.

This issue has been going on in the PC version since 2016, and they released this game on xbox one without correcting/patching the lag. I'm getting lag issues where sims just stand around on commands while the time passes. It's completely unacceptable.
