Sims 4 Le rewards not unlocking

PS4 update patch 1.37   PS4 Pro  English  No mods  All packs except the latest spooky one.

The Connection trait bug, refuses to allow the game to unlock career rewards, is alive and well. Will it ever get fixed? Is there a work around? I can use a cheat to unlock all the locked items in build mode, but rather the game would get fixed.  Going to try playing all those careers again to see if the second time around the items unlock. Any other suggestions? Advice?
