Fur designs on my werewolf sims disappeared after I load my household from galle

I spent many hours designing both of my sims werewolf fur patterns by painting everything by hand on both of them. Saved my household to not lose progress, when I come back to do finishing touches their patterns are gone! Their fur looks void as if no texture was in them. Strange enough the picture in my gallery contains the real design but not when I place the household sims. This happened to me on my PS4, I've tried restarting and it doesn't seem to work. I really don't wanna lose all my work, what can I do?
