Crashing long load times

My sims 4 game was taking 17 minutes and wasn’t even loaded (to the main screen) and then it crashed also when I make a household and then put them down and go to go upstairs in their house it doesn’t work I’m on Xbox one s I’ve heard others are having the same problem I’m waiting to get my laptop fixed and then I’m going to buy sims 4 on my laptop at Christmas cuz I can’t keep waiting this long just for my game to crash it’s so slow and laggy as well.

Are you getting an error message when your game crashes on you?

Could you also go into a bit more detail for me please about what isn't working when your Sims are going upstairs?
