Cats and Dogs missing

Cats and Dogs came on a disc along with the game as a bundle for X-Box. It originally installed perfectly and was in use for over a year. Friday it disappeared. It now says that is 'unowned' (exceptionally bad english).

Tried the 'uninstall game and reinstall' suggestion, the game reinstalled okay but the cats and dogs expansion is not showing up on the disc.

The disc is clean, no scratches, fingerprints, nothing. Why wouldn't the pack be available?

@thetntkids If the XBox requires a gold account to access the game, or the account that originally downloaded the base game and DLC with the disc is no longer on the console then any games and DLC that are linked to that original account will be removed.

Games and DLC can only be used on the primary/home console or be shared by other accounts on the console if it's the home/primary console.

You can try going offline and installing the game from the disc.

Update: Daughter advised that the disc didn't work at all, she had to reinstall using Gold.

@thetntkids still can't find the cats or dogs! Could they have gone for a virtual walk?

Okay, thanks for the reply

The XBox is our only console, only ever had one account, the game was originally installed from disc as a bundled pack with cats and dogs. Obviously the first thing to happen when the disc is placed into the console is a huge download to bring it up to date. Worked okay, can't understand why the add on was removed in the first place?

Will give the 'offline' install with disc a try

Update; We also have several other addons and none of those went missing and are all available!

@thetntkids Thanks, the offline install worked perfectly...............after placing the disc the correct way up
