Game doesnt start

When i launch the game on steam, EA anticheat appear and then close. The game doesnt start after that and the Play button become green again on steam. I reinstalled 4 times, restarted my PC 2 times but nothing change.

Worked for me as well in terms of starting. Once I plugged the wheel in I got a CTD.
I guess the venerable G29 isn't supported!

i am personally experiencing the same.

if i open windows event viewer it says that EAAnticheat "cannot find origin directory" and not much more.

perhaps confirm this is the same?

For me if HDR is enabled the game will not start. However, it will start on the next attempt and HDR is disabled when it does.

Yeah it was the same for me, i reinstalled windows and now it work.

Exactly the same problem last year with F1 23. Idk why but i have to reinstall windows every year for these games xd

Hello,

I bought the F1 24 Champions Edition via Steam and actually you should be able to play it on 05/28/24 at 5:00 p.m. Steam also shows that the game is now available but when I start the game the anti cheat starts and then a few seconds later it cancels and the green play button appears again, i.e. the game crashes.

I checked everything for updates, run Steam as administrator, reinstall the Ea Anti Cheat, reinstall the game and check the files, I have already tried everything.

Can someone please help me?
