Dear EA Support,
I am writing to express my frustration with the performance issues in the newly released F1 24 for PC. I experienced the same problem with F1 23, and despite trying every possible fix, nothing worked. I was hopeful that F1 24 would resolve the issue, but unfortunately, NOTHING has changed.
The game suffers from severe FPS drops throughout, even in the menus, making it completely unplayable. I have tried adjusting all settings to low, high performance, etc., but none of these tweaks have made any difference. This is the only game on my PC with this issue.
For your reference, my system specifications are:
My PC is running all other racing titles on the highest settings at 100-140 FPS without any issues, except for F1 23 and F1 24 by EA.
This issue was reported by many players during the F1 23 update release. However, no patch or fix was made available, as the release of F1 24 was already advertised and anticipated. It is disappointing that these performance problems were not addressed in the new release.
I kindly request that you address this performance issue as it significantly impacts the gaming experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Same happening with me,
My PC has Nvidia RTX 3070 , i9, I have tried verifiying game files, updating nvidia driver to latest 555.85, updating windows but nothing works. FPS shows 140 but the game itself is so stuttering that it is unplayable.

I'm experiencing the same issue, I just built a new PC (RX 7800XT, Ryzen 7700X, 32GB DDR5) and this game is almost unplayable. The game will be running somewhat smoothly and then out of no where the frames will drop drastically making it so hard to get a good lap in. I've tried everything, reinstalling the game, drivers, and dropping to the lowest settings and locking the frames to 100 fps (should be getting to ~200fps easily on the lowest settings and probably more) but to no avail. I know it's a game issue because my F1 23 runs perfectly fine. Not sure what the issue is and I'm aware that this usually happens in F1 games at launch but hopefully they fix it soon.

Same here
ASUS ROG 14 Zephyrus GA401 IV
1 TB SSD, 16 GB RAM
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 max-Q 6GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800 HS Radeon 2.9 Ghz
The game ought to run smoothly and I'm not even a sucker for the graphics. I would be perfectly content if it runs on low settings, if only it would run smoothly.
I as well tried lots of fixes, tweaks and tricks with little effect (the menu's run somewhat better, that's it). If the stuttering happens at the wrong time, I lose my breaking point or rhythm in a corner and it screws up an entire lap, or race.

I'm getting drops too, it seems to start when I am mid session and for whatever reason (e.g. no FFB) I tab out of the game and back in, I am met with a drop every 5-10 seconds or so.

I'm having the same issues, I have tried every combination of settings, went through all of the trouble shooting options. No matter if the settings are ultra high or ultra low, there is a consistent frame drop every 5-10 seconds. I've reinstalled the game, repaired the files, clean installed GPU drivers, v-sync on/off, limiting frame rate etc, etc.

i had the same problem in f1 23 and fixed it by setting nvidia reflex to off (in f1 24 the problem is fixed for me)! maybe you could give it a try...

Same specs and issues here. I even get freezes for seconds at a time mid-lap.
