Logitech G923 is not working on F1 23

Same problem on Xbox Series X|S. 

Steering wheel and pedals do not respond, only the buttons work.

You need to disconnect the G923 and connect it again after opening the game.

The force feedback is very weak compared to the F1 22, almost like off.

Summarize your bug When in the menu force feedback is on but when racing it turns off for steering. I tried f1 2019 and it works just fine so the wheel is not broken. I have adjusted a bunch of settings too but the strength of the force feedback does not work.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get a logitech g923 wheel for playstation and plug into ps4. Then start a race not the trial on while download but a full race.
What happens when the bug occurs? The force feedback is not working
What do you expect to see? If I set strength to maximum the wheel would give resistance when turning.

I have the an issue on playstation 4 and the g923. It works when in the menu the ffb is strong but when racing it is light as feather also changed settings. All settings work except for the ffb strength when steering. I know it's not the wheel since f1 2019 works great.

@RVladimiro If I disconnect the usb and plug it back in, it works, but the force feedback is off. It’s only going to the center, and is not working with the game. For example, when I lose grip, it puts the wheel at the center, instead of opposite locking like it should

@ramiirogarciia G920 fix is just close the game and reboot. G923 there is no fix it’s just broken.

@SteveJackson It's not the wheel I have friends with G-29,G920 who have no issues with the force Feedback as I have friends with the G923 who have same problem as me as having no force feedback.Firmware is up to date Xbox is up to date It just seems its broken at the moment

Seeing as no one has provided any qualitative feedback, there is no direct correlation.

Wheel model, update if any, platform, all relevant.

Most are just whinging “it’s broke, fix it”. Not helpful.

Therefore standing by my advice, to connect to PC, check for firmware updates as required (even on console). 

Windows 10/11, driver software, all may vary.

People saying “works with other games”, “last game” etc. all very frustrating and unhelpful, means very little actually.

”Not this game”. “New driver models”, new APIs and it’s not a “copy/paste game”.

Be smart like Alonso, find your Aston Martin. You have the power, you just need to update 😉

@Britbillyt yes, I have the same issue. The reconnecting workaround is to have steering and pedals detected. It doesn't solve the FFB issue. I'm sorry if I mislead you unintentionally.
