@HashbrownRolo Hey, I had the G923 for a year and never saw a firmware update. Perhaps the drivers got updated in the background with a G Hub update or system firmware on console? Anyway, they're plug and play and ready to go for the most part, these wheels.

When the CMs refer to working with Logitech on this, they're most likely talking about getting specialized assistant to better implement the Trueforce SDK on their (Codies) end. Whenever - if ever - this gets fixed, will most likely be via a game patch and not a Logitech firmware update.

I'm assuming you got in touch with Logitech's support on their website? Overall I really like their service, but you probably spoke to a regular agent trying to piece an answer for your request based on the limited information they're briefed. I suggest reaching out for logi's people on their official Logitech G subreddit, they're active and thorough over there.
Not that you'll hear anything different though, mind you. I've all but given up on seeing these wheels fully functional in this game.

@EA_rephii any updates on this? we have seen 4 or 5 patches and months since launch, but force feedback issues have not been solved (in my experience especially on PS5 with Logitech Pro wheel). Honestly it is unacceptable to have the game virtually unplayable for us people with this issue. Would appreciate an update on this matter.
Thanks.

@tasmangr77 Can we actually do this? I'd love to get a refund. Game is unplayable for me, I've had a lot of fun with OTHER GAMES THAT ARE ACTUALLY WELL MADE, so I'd like to seriously get a refund and put F1 2023 in the trash.

We can try and ask and then also escalate to Microsoft. They are scamming us and the more of us we ask for refunds the more likely it is that Microsoft will notice...

From the EA site:

You can make a refund request:
  • Within 24 hours after you first launch the game.
  • Within fourteen days from the day you bought it, if you haven’t launched the game.
  • Within fourteen days from the release date if you pre-ordered the game, if you haven’t launched the game.

Looks like none of us would qualify for a refund since the game has been out for a couple months. HOWEVER this sounds extremely unfair, given that we waited, in good faith, for a timely update that would fix this issues. Which hasn't happened. Feels like a deep betrayal to customers.

There is no fix. This has been an issue since the game released, I have been waiting for a patch to fix this for months so I can enjoy the game but so far, nothing. It is very frustrating...

I just tried the 1.10 patch and FFB still works for one race then switches off completely if I try to start a second.

I'm running the game through Steam in Windows 10, using a Logitech G29 with all the latest firmware/drivers/G Hub, etc.

Hey racers,

We've been working closely with our partners at Logitech on the implementation of TrueForce, extra buttons, and RPM lights in order to support these features on the Xbox platform. Unfortunately, support for these features will not be available in F1®23 for compatible Logitech wheels.

We know that these are highly requested features and the team is working towards making these features available in our future games.
