Camera view in VR is broken

Summarize your bug 1) When I go to Grand Prix and start a race (Monaco, Sauber), soon as race starts Ithe camera is not in cockpit view, but rear view, and cannot be changed. This is in VR Issue two similar; 2) When I start game and get the right view and press for Flashback, the view is rear facing camera, not front facing; I can scroll through cameras like in a replay but it ruins the Flashback..

What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. HP Reverb G2, Fanatec CSW 2.5, pedals v.3, Podium shifters

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I've no idea
What happens when the bug occurs? I get upset because the first two nights of my 3 day early access have both been fixing bugs or giving up
What do you expect to see? Cockpit view on 1, forward facing view on 2

So I jumped through the practice and qual in career mode, started a race, and same thing. After hitting Enter to start race, in Look back view. In frustration I pressed all keys on keyboard and spacebar changed to the correct Cockpit view in VR. But..the question remains, why is this happening? And the issue persists in Flashback mode as well. But, out of time tonight, will try to actually get some play time in on my third and final day of preview.

I've now tried Grand Prix mode with several cars and tracks, and the view in VR works fine in practice but when I get to the race and press enter to start, Rear View Only. Please FIX! This game is unplayable for me in present state.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. For me it is resolved if I hold down the clutch and I face the right way but as soon as I leave go of the clutch I face backwards. I think it is a problem with the function of rear view being confused with clutch and clutch being inverted so when depressed it also activates the rear view function. I am not sure how to untangle this.

How did you fix your issue?

I never have fixed the issue in flashback. Pretty much back to iRacing now
