Quinn's Aquarium difficulties

Quinn's Aquarium has a large error with hints.  Many times I will click hint, and it gives me nothing, yet takes a hint away from me.  Either put available moves on the game so you know how many moves are left, or fix the fact that hints I'm buying aren't giving me any useful information.

Usually, if there are no playable tiles for the hints to indicate, I don't lose a turn, it just makes a sound and the # of unused hints stays the same. Yesterday and today I have probably lost 8 or more hints because it deducted a hint but did not show any playable tiles. Very unfair and I'd like my lost hints back!
