Suggestion for a new rule:
A player that achieve a badge in a world, he can not attack/kill any other player after that. He can just attack/kill Bases, Outposts and Camps.
After a badge many players (from main allaince) join other allaince(s) and interfere and influence in next badge rank achievement.
With that rule, fight for 2nd, 3rd, etc badge will still be meaningful and interesting for other players and will enjoy in continuing the game to his badge.
Would be interesting to implement that new rule at least in one new comming world.

For instance if anyone.can remember back that far....
I always suspected that the decision by the old devs to push defense artillery calibration times to 5 minutes actually discouraged pvp thus making people leave the game.

And....
Consider the discussion about destroyed base attack cool down times going on more or less at them same time.
A 24 hr cool down was decided on when people were objecting to even 12 hr time.
By itself it does not amount to a big deal. But taken with the longer artillery timer?

I remember a 48 hour cool down and at least 7 minutes calibration times but that's didn't last long......
I think it was on select servers.

I would go further and say that badge winners should be removed from the world completely
they can log in and look around or chat but all thier bases will be ghosted as soon as they win the medal.
This makes the 2nd badge an interesting fight between the wing of the people that just won and the rest of the server who may not be interested in that world order lol

I think all that have badged first should continue in any for which they desire.
Like it or not they have won by skill or by funding (or both) and therefore they are the server winners.
Winners do not and should not be penalised for winning. Winners should be rewarded and that comes in many forms. Examples of that reward is, they help next alliances or dictate the run order and to be honest that is the way it should be as they have first badge and server effectively belongs to them. If it is not agreed or accepted by others then them others should fight the winners for the right to control server. Nothing should just be given it is a war game.
Oh and the name of the game is " Command and Conquer Tiberium AllianceS " it is not "Kill the middle then disappear" ;-)
