So, I'm on what is almost a Dead Server, and the reason is because the Fortress got too High in Level from what I've heard.
Now, it's an Old Server, so it's on it's 7th Run Pending, and I'm going for that 7th as one of the Oldest Alliances on the Map.
So, I would like to request, for the sake of our Research Points, can we please get more Upgrades, particularly in the Structures.
I'm looking at my Harvesters thinking, "Now wouldn't it be nice to have an Upgrade that made them do more, and Collect more?" wouldn't you agree?
So, I came up with a Suggested Universal Tech-Tree for the Base Structures, suitable for GDI and NOD (Listed in Build Order).
Harvester: Upgrade with "Harvesting Optimisation" - Upgrades Harvesters to generate 30% more Resources - Cost = $750,000,000 / 1,500,000,000 RP
Power Plant: Upgrade with "Improved Turbines" - Upgrades Power Plants to generate 30% more Resources - Cost = $750,000,000 / 1,500,000,000 RP
Refinery: Upgrade with "Enhanced Refinement" - Upgrades Refineries to generate 30% more Resources - Cost = $750,000,000 / 1,500,000,000 RP
OK, so this covers the Basics, the idea is to keep them eaqual in price to each other.
Moving onto the Silo and Accumulator.
Silo: Upgrade with "Concentration Systems" - Upgrades Silos to Store 20% more Recources - Cost = $1,250,000,000 / 2,000,000,000 RP
Accumulator: Upgrade with "Enhanced Charge Capacitors" - Upgrades Accumulators to Store 20% more Recources - Cost = $1,250,000,000 / 2,000,000,000 RP
Now for the Unique Structures.
Construction Yard: Upgrade with "Building Area Control Matrix" - Increases the number of Construction Slots by up to 10 Additional Slots past Level 25 to Level 45 (1 per 2 Levels).
Additionally, this Upgrade could also remove the Limitation for the Support Structures like the "Skystrike" / "Blade Of Kane" and "Ion Cannon" / "Fist Of Kane" to allow all 3 at once.
To this, the Cost would be Increased Substantially for this Upgrade, making it the Ultimate End-Game Upgrade - Cost = $50,000,000,000 / 100,000,000,000 RP
Command Centre: Upgrade with "Recruitment Campaign" - Increases "Army Points" by 10% - Cost = $5,000,000,000 / 7,500,000,000 RP
So, the Repair Buildings:
Barracks: Upgrades with "Improved Medical Bays"
War Factory: Upgrades with "Improved Repair Bays"
Airfield: Upgrades with "Improved Hanger Facilities"
Each of these would Reduce the amount of time taken to Repair Units by 5% - Which is enough to make a difference, but not enough to break the Economy.
These would each cost the same as each other, with the Credits Cost exceeding the RP Cost, but that cost would still be sizable - Cost = $25,000,000,000 / 10,000,000,000 RP
Defence HQ: Upgrade with "Defensive Infrastructure" - Increases "Defence Points" by 10% - Cost = $15,000,000,000 / 25,000,000,000 RP
Defence Facility: Upgrade with "Preperation Drills" - Improves the Repair of Defensive Structures and Units from 70% to 75% - Cost $20,000,000,000 / 15,000,000,000 RP
So, that leaves the Support Structures:
I won't list each of them, but the idea is that they all Improve in their Specialised area - Cost $25,000,000,000 / 50,000,000,000 RP
So, that does it for Structure Upgrades.
LINE BREAK, and a Cuppa...
So, regarding the Upgrades that Offence and Defence Units and Structures have... It would be nice to see a Second Tier of Upgrades for them.
While Upgrades like the Predator Tank "HEAT-MP-T" were good, there were others like the Mammoth Tank "Battering Ram" which could often be a mixed blessing.
I personally didn't bother with the Battering Ram for the Mammoth Tank, because it's sometimes not convenient to have your Forces charge too far forward.
If this Post is ever Read by the Developers, then I'd be happy to provide some suggestions, but I'm sure you can take a look at the Ideas Box of what originally got rejected instead.

Hey @GENERALZOOL,
thank you for the pretty detailed description of upgrades for buildings. I'll forward your suggestion to the team.
While I personally find them very interesting I wouldn't put my hopes too high for this coming to the game any time soon. I guess it would mean a lot of work in terms of development and balancing.
But again, I'll forward it and let's see what happens.

Please also consider suggestions made in the past, there is a 10 year backlog so why does this get to be considered first?
