I also have noticed that when installing two of the remaining packs I have left to download get stuck on "preparing" in the EA app. Tried to restart the app, rename the sims 3 folder etc but doesn't seem to fix it. I wonder if this possibly stems from the same issue ?

No ETA to share at the moment, we do have all relevant teams engaged at this time to determine the issue and resolution.

@EA_Cade Thank you for getting back! Do you also know if the issue regarding the avatar backgrounds not applying on profiles will be fixed too? It’s been an issue for a couple of months now, and players who have the default white background can’t change it, even if you bought any new avatar backgrounds with SimPoints.

@ladysimplayer8 I was thinking the same as well because it reminded me of when the Sims 2 site was having the same issue with not being able to log in or see anything just months before announcing that they were going to close the site down.
