Missing lots of Sims Content

★ Novice

I was forced to move over to the EA App today.  Tried to launch Sims Medieval and while it shows up in my account it will keeps failing to launch.  I purchased the deluxe version through Origin so it doesn't make sense that it wouldn't port over.  I'm also missing all of my Sims 3 Store bought content.  It shows in the launcher under downloads but when I try to install them it gives me a failure message and to check to make sure my software is updated (screenshot attached).  I have it fully patched to 1.69 and I don't believe any new patches have been out since then.  Did I seriously just lose a whole game and all that content?

Re: Missing lots of Sims Content

@jinxminx  For the missing store content, it's a known issue with the EA App, and you'll need to get rid of your existing content and download fresh copies.  Please see this post for more details:

It may be easier to start with a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to spawn a clean folder, install a few store items, load the game to make sure they work, restart your computer, and check again to be thorough.  If everything's fine, go ahead and install the rest of your content in small batches—the launcher doesn't handle large amounts of data very well.

Once your store content is installed correctly, you can move your saves and anything else you want to keep from the old Sims 3 folder to the new one and pick up where you left off.  In case you're wondering what to preserve, here's a description of everything in the user folder:

For the Sims Medieval issue, please post in the Other Sims Games forum:
