The game spore keeps crashing on the load in or sign in page

Hi everyone - after good behaviour was rewarded to my 10 year old son - he asked for spore - it worked first time and whenever he try’s to sign in - the mouse will not click on anything for us to sign in and load the game - and I have to restart the Mac in order to reload the computer or it just stays with the sign in page - I’ve tried delete it it and downloading it agin but I’m met with the same problems - any help would be great

When the game starts, use cmd and enter,  switch into windowed mode.

Go directly in the ingame under settings and change the screen resolution

I have the same problem as @1977Predator, and I tried to do what you suggested but it didn't work
