Steam users unable to create Spore account or redeem game on Origin

I have the EA (Beta) app installed, which will be replacing Origin at some point.  I have SPORE and all expansions on STEAM.  Here's what I did, and it worked.

1. Open Steam
2. Find SPORE in the list of games.
3. Right click SPORE and select "Manage" - "CD Keys".
4. Click "Copy Key to Clipboard"
5. Open EA and click "My Collection" on the left.
6. Click "+ Redeem Code" and paste the STEAM code there.
7. Hit "Next", CHECK YOUR CORRECT LANGUAGE (I almost got Thai by mistake).
8. Nit "Next" again, and then "close" or "Install with EA client", whichever you prefer.
9. Open SPORE in steam, and log in using your EA acount.
10. WORKING!!!! I'm so excited! 

I really hope this helps someone out.  I've never had the ability to use online features.

CD keys for core Spore are now visible on Steam, It's not stuck on "Requesting keys..." anymore!!!!

This is completely rubbish from EA....   They shouldn't be selling it on Steam without a warning that the game is crippled. It's basically theft,  unless they do fix it through tech support which I'm about to try.

@2c29301d8346c2a3da77dca6977526fd Don't waste your time, they unironically don't have anybody on their team who can fix this, I've tried 5 times, 2 of my friends have tried over 5 times each, eventually the EA help official just says "i've notified my superior, we're working a fix for the problem now" (a lie) and then thats the end of the conversation. The majority of them don't know anything about Spore and see it as too old and I'm certain there isn't a single one of them that has been around long enough to know anything about it.

I finally managed to log in to Spore.

However, I haven't still been able to make Creepy & Cute Parts Pack work.

I talked to EA support several times, they haven't been able to make it appear in my Origin library.

It's just a waste of time and effort.

@0xAlif C&C doesn't show up as standalone game like GA does. You'll find it somewhere in DLCs of Spore, I think

@xXEatThatPieXx I tried it and managed to get my code but when I want to register it it says this code has already be redeemed -_-
