Spore will not start downloading [ Edited ]

This is what happens whenever I press download on the game

It does this

and then does this weird glitch after it fails to do the first thing.

All other games are downloading just fine through Origin except Spore. I have tried to download Spore on 3 different computers and it has worked on none of them. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Origin, restarting my computer, and running Origin as administrator, none have worked. I am very stumped on how to fix this. Any and all help is appreciated.

Same Here. Why is this not fixed after months of download not working?

EA Store App does not let me get the Serial # to redeem it on steam...

I'm having the same problem and its the end of December. Game will not download.

My problem was with Spore. Problem same as described above. I got the game to download by removing all the add-ons from the download. I noticed that one of the add-ons was queued before the game when I looked at the xbox app. I suspect that the download order created a problem because the add-on wouldn't download unless it detected the main game. but that is just a hunch based on the fix.
