Spore (Download from Origin) will not Launch on Macbook?

I recently downloaded spore off of Origin for the Mac. I have a Macbook Air 2015. Several sources I found said to not install some of the newer patches but I'm not sure in how I would do so. Anyone who knows or understand any of this, your help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Make sure you had disable Origin in the game, see under your settings in Origin.

it does work i use a macbook pro so it does if you get the black screen look it up just go into your files for spore and see EA's fix by editing
