Can't redeem Spore with retail codes

I'm trying to redeem Spore on Origin with the original retail codes I got when I got the game back in 2008. But it say's they are already used. Same with the expansion packs.

Do I need to buy the game again even though I have the codes from the retail version? I really would like to return to Spore.
