So I recently bought spore off of steam, and I had troubles logging in to spore. After I contacted an EA rep and he helped fix my first problem. Right after that I tried to login and it said it couldn't connect to the servers. It said to check my internet but I was clearly connected to the internet. Any advice?

Please make sure your firewall is not blocking access.
If you can rule out security settings of your computer as the reason I would suggest to flush your DNS cache.

It seems like the best thing to do is contact customer support and get your issue escalated; you'll have to do a few things before they'll actually help you, though, and I am still waiting to get my issue fixed. It's pretty frustrating. I've owned this game since release and really loved it. I feel like it's pointless without access to the sporepedia.

I have added firewall rules, flush DNS, and still unable to register my spore game on my PC.
